Dennis F. Riordan

Dennis Francis Riordan, 73 passed at his home peacefully in Prineville, on June 16, 2016.

Dennis was 12/27/1942 in Portland, Oregon to Herbert Garland and Mary Isabel (Rossiter) Riordan.

Family and friends may call on the Prineville Funeral Home, for a visitation Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

There will be a Celebration of life funeral, Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 2pm at the Church of the Nazarene Prineville Oregon.

Dennis Graduated from Jefferson High School, and then went in the Army to serve his country. Dennis was a soldier in the 82nd airborne as a paratrooper

Dennis married Joanne Placzek, they were married at the Holy redeemer church Portland Oregon June 25, 1966. After the couple married Dennis was a baker, construction worker, Les Schwab (Purchasing Agent) and they owned a detail shop called the D’n D’ detail.

Dennis’ other life accomplishments were, he was a wonderful husband, friend, amazing father and grandfather. He never missed a day of work in 19 years. He also built the home he and Joanne raised their children and grandchildren in.

His hobbies included being an avid collector of coins, baseball cards, and guns. He greatly enjoyed working in his yard and loved cars.

Survived by: wife Joanne Riordan, sons Scott Riordan, Steve Riordan; 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and

7 sisters, and 5 brothers.

Preceded in death by: Sister Nancy Johnson, and his Mother & Father.
