So sad! My family and my college-friend Horst cherish wonderful memories of the two occasions that we met Bill and Janet in San Jose Bautista: The first one in 1973 when Horst and I visited Ben as backpackers: Bill and Janet invited us to a delicious Californian BBQ - what a generous gesture towards the half-brother of Ben! Same wonderful scenery in 1988: Living in Virginia then with my wife and two daughters, my family had made its way across the country with our camp trailer to see Ben and Peggy. Again: wonderful moments, warm reception and interesting conversations with Janet and her wonderful, warm-hearted husband: We will not forget you, dear Bill. You were such a wonderful person with a great heart and a big smile! Love always - Franz Wurzner, Germany, with family
