Welcome to the memorial page for

William H McCormick

May 16, 1981 ~ October 20, 2016 (age 35) 35 Years Old

“BJ” William McCormick Jr., 35, Prineville, Oregon lost his life on October 20, 2016 in a single car accident. He is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne and her mother, Carrie McCormick; both of Prineville where he resided the past eight years. BJ was born on May 16, 1981 to William McCormick Sr., Rochester, WA. and Peggy McCormick, Troutdale, OR. He is also survived by his grandmother Jean Blake, Puyallup, WA. and two brothers; Bryan McCormick, Gresham, OR. and Dillon McCarthy, Troutdale, OR; as well as many family and friends. BJ spent his childhood camping, at the racetrack, on a dirt bike, and was always surrounded by family. He grew up doing motocross, mostly for fun, and earned the nickname “Crash” which he always managed to live up to. We soon learned he was an “adrenaline junkie” and had “no fear”. He enjoyed an education at Benson Polytechnic High School, Portland, Oregon, with a major in Automotive, landing him in his current career at T S & S Ford, in Madras, Oregon as a Service Technician. BJ had a “bigger than life”, infectious personality. He lived life to the fullest, took chances, and believed he was invincible…he did not sweat the small stuff and lit up any room he entered or any bonfire he was at. His family and friends (also known to him as his “family”) were the most important things to him. BJ enjoyed camping, bonfires, beer, and bacon! He will be missed by all that know him and love him. A Celebration of Life is being planned. For more information check the Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/1313405725377927/.
