Ola Mae Riley, 94, peacefully passed away of natural causes at home, on November 13, 2016,
surrounded by loving family. Ola Mae was born to John William Craddock and Delia (Hill) Craddock in
Pickens, OK, a small upland farm community, on September 18, 1922. She was married to George Allen
Riley on July 29, 1938 in Atoka, OK and was blessed with over 58 years of marriage. She and George
moved their family of three children from Oklahoma to Prineville, Oregon in 1954, where she has
resided since. Ola Mae was the Riley family matron, a source of loving advice, guidance and comforting
hugs to many of her family members during her life. She worked at various jobs over her lifetime,
including one at Tinker Air Base during World War II, but in lieu of a long working career, invested most
of her life as a loving mother and wife for her family and in service to her church, the Prineville Church
of Christ. Ola Mae was preceded in death by her Father John Craddock, Mother Delia Craddock,
Stepmother Ora Roberts, Stepsister Betty Sullivan, Half‐Sister Louise “Dinky” Bonhom, Sister Vedis Kee,
Infant daughters Mary Jo & Vedis Louise, and Loving husband George Riley. Ola Mae is survived by three
children, George Ann Smith, Jerry Riley and Jack Riley, Nine Grandchildren, Twenty‐Two Great‐
Grandchildren, and Twelve Great‐Great‐Grandchildren. Ola Mae will be greatly missed by her maternal
and church families, but they will all find comfort in the proclamation made by Ola Mae that she is going
to a better place, promised to her by her lifelong walk with her personal savior Jesus Christ.
