My condolences to those suffering the loss of Mrs. LaFon. I didn't have the opportunity to know her, but I have lost friends to cancer too. These promises from God's Word has helped me to endure those times of sorrow, and I would like to share them with you. " Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalms 34:18. "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Revelation 21:4. Jehovah God's Son, Jesus, has also promised: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." John 5:28, 29. Loved ones that have died will live again on earth, free from sickness and disease, for "no resident will say: "I am sick." The people dwelling in the land will be pardoned for their error." Isaiah 33:24. What a happy future this will be!
