Thinking about you heavy tonight grandpa.. it's hard to put into words on how your passing still seems so fresh even though it's been some time.. I have a baby now, her name is Riley Mae and she's 2 now. Boy I'm sure she'd love the hell out of you.. you'd be so proud of Courtney, Taylor and I, we're great parents and have beautiful children inside and out! Grandma is doing better! She's not out and about causing mischief anymore haha I say that lovingly. I'm sure you know.. there are certain angels that make me think of home and the simple times growing up that remind me of you and grandma. When the sun goes down and that golden glow is showing, boy does it take me back to feeling comfort of being back home with you guys..I was reminiscing the other day how you taught me how to drive when I was 9 and the time we took Taylor and he almost crashed the truck but my quick thinking saved the day! Haha I miss making homemade popcorn and melding the butter to having cookies in the night with a cup of milk with you.. your meatloaf too! Courtney did a really good job on some peanut butter balls a year back or so! You would be impressed. I miss giving you pedicures and brushing your hair..I can still here your voice and your laugh and oh how I hope that no matter how much time passes I don't forget what you sound like... life really isn't the same without you for any of us..I miss you so so much grandpa..I love you with all my heart. You'll always be my sunshine

Not a day goes by I don't think of you grandpa. You are terribly missed and loved so much. I think about all the times we've shared and so thankful to have such a heroic grandfather and amazing mentor in my life. You and grandma have brought so much love and light into our lives. You were the core to this family and without you, nothing is the same. I miss your jokes and all the laughter we've all shared. Even though you're not here in this physical world, you continue to live in spirit and within my heart. You will always be my world. I love you 💜

Denny was my best friend. We spent many times together and watched our families grow up over 44 years. We will miss him and know he is with God.
