We lived across the street from Elaine on Loper for 8 years. She was such a special lady and our kids loved her. Our fondest memory is what she finally told us when we were moving. Our youngest son Josh was an early riser. When he was around 4, he noticed Elaine's light on across the street. He decided to go visit her. She let him in and gave him hot chocolate. That became a daily routine until he started school and he continued the early morning visits when he could. She told us when we moved about their early morning visits and how she was going to miss it. We never knew about the visits before She holds a special place in our hearts and always will. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. 💕

Our Sweet Aunt Laney -

You will be missed more than you can possibly imagine. Our lives were so enriched with your words, compassion and encouragement. I will miss your phone calls and hearing your voice reassuring me that everything was as it should be. It gives me comfort knowing that you and Grammy and now united. Forever in our hearts and in our prayers.

Elaine was my friend, like a second Mother to me for all these years. We just loved to sit and visit, with so many things, people, places in common.... and going to the Senior Center for lunch, what a treat.....she knew so many people and pretty soon I knew them too.....she truly cared about people and was always interested in hearing about my family, and when they came down to visit I took them to meet Elaine and what a wonderful host she was....everyone just loved her......and most of all I loved her with all my heart. and will miss our times together.....Always and forever .....Agape' and such a Big Hug....Lennie Warren

My great Aunt Laney meant so much to me. I will always have such fond memories of all the summers spent with her and Uncle Ray. There will be a hole left in my heart but I feel peace that she is no longer in pain. Until we meet again. I... Love.... YOU! My thoughts and prayers are with you Chuck and Patty, I pray for peace and comfort during this time. Love you both ❤️
