Ecila Remmiz was my favorite cousin & we identified as “Ecila” and “Nerak SetneL” from the 50’s to the end. If you haven’t figured it out, it’s our names backwards. We grew up together and I considered her as an older sister. The first time we saw Stevie Wonder on Channel 50 (Canada) was on Nightingale in Dearborn in the kitchen on a small portable TV. Who knew at that time he would become who he is today. We actually typed & mailed letters in the 60’s to each other. We kept in touch through the years & saw each other in Michigan & California. I’m happy to have seen her near the end of her life. We’ll see each other again I ‘m sure. Love you EcilA! Nerak

My dear friend Alice,
Your strenth and courage over these last several months fighting to recover from the cancer treatments and the effects of the devastating strokes was amazing.
You will be missed, but I find comfort in knowing you are now back with John and I can see your smilingface.
Thank you to Leslie and Ric who provided such devoted and loving care. You mentioned several times to me how grateful you were for their love, support and tender care.
Your courage and friendship all these many years have meant a great deal to me.
