Alice Diane Nafus passed away in the presence of family on May 18, 2017. Alice was born the daughter of William and Erica Zimmer on January 12, 1950, in Detroit, Mi. She was raised in Dearborn, and graduated from Dearborn High School in 1968.
In 1971, Alice moved to Los Angeles, where she resided for the next 46 years. For 30 of those years hours worked at ABC/Disney, where she met the love of her life John Nafus. Alice and John love to travel especially to Hawaii, which they did for many of the 25 years that they spent together. In later years, Alice and John volunteered at American Legion Post 193, in Van Nuys, Ca. Alice was always kind cheerful. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Alice is survived by a sister, Wilma Luna of Pinkney, Mi; a brother, William Zimmer, of Columbus, MS; and a brother, Eric Zimmer of Prineville, Or. She was preceded in death, by her husband John, parents William and Erica and her cats, Stinky Butt and Pooky.
