Wilma Jeanette (Littlejohn) Acord

Wilma Jeanette Acord of Prineville Oregon passed away in Prineville on November 12, 2023. Wilma was born in Portland Oregon on June 12th, 1938, to Emily and Raymond Littlejohn. She attended Portland Union Academy of Portland Oregon. Wilma married Eldon Leroy Acord in 1955, and together they had four children Eldon Wayne Acord, Sherry Barber, David Acord, and Wilma Bonney. She worked a variety of jobs from waitressing to millwork and enjoyed participating in various hobbies. Her most loved hobbies were quilting, square dancing, completing puzzles, collecting teapots, camping, and spending time with her family.  Wilma was also a proud member of the 4-H community as a child, enjoyed dancing with the Sagebrush Shufflers as an adult, and participated in the Crook County Quilt Guild. Wilma is survived by her husband Eldon, her four children Wayne, Sherry, David, and Wilma Jean, sons-in-law Bob Barber and Earl Bonney, daughter-in-law Tuk Acord, 46 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with her brother Ivan Littlejohn and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her parents Emily & Raymond Littlejohn, brothers Marion Littlejohn, Earl Littlejohn, George Littlejohn, sister Ellen Condon and daughter-in-law Lynn Acord. Memorial services will be held at Prineville Nazarene Church, 780 E. 1st Street Prineville, OR 97754 on December 2nd, 2023, at 2:30 PM. Reception to follow, if you can please bring a dessert or dish of your choice. Memorial donations may be made in Wilma’s name to March of Dimes.
