Todd Rhoden Obituary

Todd Allen Rhoden, a beloved son, dad, brother, uncle, cousin and friend passed away on February 3rd, 2021 at the age of 57. Todd was born on July 14th 1963 to Lee and Pat Rhoden in Prineville, Oregon. Todd grew up in Prineville attending all of the local schools and graduating from Crook County High School.

Todd’s childhood years consisted of growing up on the family farm and doing the fun, adventurous and daring things a young man would do. From the earliest age Todd had a love and passion for animals, finding and bringing home any little critter he could get his hands on, sage rats, birds (any kind), lizards, scorpions, snakes, skunks, ferrets, fish, cats and dogs. Many of these were available around his home where he grew up near 2 ponds and acres of land to roam.

Todd had a passion for hunting and fishing. He always loved his time hunting with his family on the Sixshooter ranch in Mitchell. He loved to fish the Ponds on the family property with his boys and friends and was pretty much the self-proclaimed pond foreman.

Todd did not know a stranger and always in his funny way could break the ice on any conversation. One of his favorite joys was terrorizing his nieces and nephews with any antic that would cause them panic, only for them to tell him, Do it again!

Todd had his bumps along the way, like we all do. But he knew the Lord and was always ready to bring encouragement into someone’s life who was struggling with any situation. He used his humor, quick wit, talents, love for animals and love for people to bring hope and encouragement to people’s lives.

Todd worked at various places around the Prineville Community, but his greatest love was for welding and fabrication. He also had a deep passion for training dogs and would readily take on the challenge of taking any at risk dog and turning it around and rescuing them from certain demise.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all that knew him. He is survived by his mom and stepdad, Pat (Rhoden) and Snoden DeBoard, Daughter - Tierra (Sean), Sons- Trevor (Sammy), Trent, Tanner (Kim) , Landon, Brothers and Sisters- Mark (Anita), Russ (Rhonda), Clay (Vicki), Bobby, Jim (Michelle), Sheryl (Joe) , Robyn (Mike), Grandchildren – Peyton and Ashtyn, also numerous of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, his friend Vicki and his beloved dog Sage.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Lee Rhoden, Grandparents Ward and Marie Rhoden, Harold and Nancy Oar.
