Steven Jack Westberg

God opened His arms and welcomed home Steven Jack Westberg, 63, of Prineville, Oregon, on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

Steve lived a full and remarkable life, guided by faith, family, and service. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he carried with him a deep sense of honor, discipline, and love for his country. His adventurous spirit led him to the skies as a pilot, and his creative heart found expression in music, where he shared joy with those around him.

A man who delighted in the simple and meaningful things, Steve loved to cook and often brought people together around a meal. His devotion to God shaped his path as a teacher and mentor, touching countless lives with his wisdom, kindness, and steadfast faith.

He is survived by his love, Jennifer Stewart; his sons, Steven Jack Westberg Jr. and Luke William Westberg; his mother, Sue Lamp (Jake); his brothers, Layne Westberg (Kim), and Eric Westberg (Trina); his sister, Krista Wood (Jim); and his stepsisters, Megan Wood (Jason) and Robin Lamp (Travis). He will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Steve was predeceased by his father, Earl Westberg; grandparents, Jack and Doris Westberg; and grandparents, Melva and Charles Moore.

His legacy of faith, service, and love will live on through the many lives he touched.

A Memorial Service will be held on September 21st at 1:30PM with Military Honors at 2PM at the Prineville Airport. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Steve by sharing a meal with loved ones, making music, or extending kindness to others, just as he did throughout his life.
