Sharon Ann York

Sharon Ann York Passed away on Sunday January 5 2025, in Prineville
Oregon where she lived most of her life. With her three sons and their wives.’
She was born on April 8 1941 in Prineville, Oregon to Floyd Bailey and Elsie
Moon Bailey, She Married Ron York Sr. on November 29 1957, in Idaho. They
were Divorce in 1975.
Sharon and Ron Sr, moved to Umatilla Oregon to work in Ron’s Sr. father
(Red) York gas Station they were there for 5 years then moved back to Prineville
where she lived the rest of her life. Sharon worked at the Central Oregonian
Newspaper for several years. Then Sharon went to work at Crooked River School
as a Custodian until her Retirement.
Sharon loved baseball where she watched all three of her son’s play at
Crook County High School. She also liked to watch sports on tv especially Little
League world Series. She also was a big Oregon Duck Fan. When not watching
sports, she liked to go camping and hunting with her family
Sharon is survived by her three sons and their wives’ Ron Jr, (Katie), Floyd
(Lisa) Todd (Lori) and numerous Grandkids and Great Grandkid’s
She is Preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Elsie Bailey and her sister
Nancy Bailey Mordhorst.
