Samuel Dewey Bell was born to Orville F. and Wilma J. Bell at Tyndall Air Force Base, Marianna, Florida, on March 19, 1956. After the death of his Father in Chateauroux, France, at the age of 3, Sam and his family moved to Prineville, Oregon. He graduated from Crook County High School and attended college in La Grande. Sam loved traveling, golfing, hiking, hunting and fishing with his wife Kelly. As a skilled bow hunter, Sam knew all the prime hunting areas. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter Colinda, teaching her to hunt and how to navigate life.
