Ronald Arthur Fox was born October 19, 1950 and passed away after a short bout with brain cancer November 19,
2025. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Arthur F. Fox, his late wife Nancy L. Fox, his son, Shannon M. Fox,
his mother Annabell G. Fox, his sister Mary E. Van Achthoven, his nephew Brandon R. Van Achthoven and
daughter-in-law Shawna Fox.
Ron is survived by his wife of 30 years Christine Fox, his son Ryan A. Fox, daughter-in-law Kimberly R. Fox, three
grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
Ron was born and raised in Sierra Madre, California. He joined the Army at 18, serving in Vietnam and then
another 13 years with the Department of Transportation. He then served 14 years as a Civil Servant in the same
field. In 1996 Ron and Chris moved from Alaska to Prineville, Oregon and spent the next 15 years traveling with the
Church of the Nazarene world missions service projects. The last 14 years were spent locally building homeless
facilities and then providing maintenance and improvements for the Redemption House Ministries, as well as for
the church building.
Also during those years time was spent enjoying family life and building custom cars which were traveled in back
and forth across the United States.
Service for Ronald Fox will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Prineville Nazarene Church, 780
E. 1st Street, Prineville, OR 97754.
