Roberta Aleene "Bobi" Decker (McDonald) was born October 21, 1948, in Klamath Falls, OR where she spent her childhood. Bobi peacefully passed away January 18, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Bobi graduated high school from Klamath Union High School in 1966, attended The Marylhurst School and Southern Oregon University.
Bobi began her adventure outside of Klamath Falls after meeting Norman Christiansen, an Air Force Veteran. Bobi and Norm moved to San Antonio, TX as a family with her first daughter Tia in 1971.
Bobi and Norm welcomed their second daughter Alethia in June of 1974 after relocating to Western, Massachusetts in 1972.
Bobi had a very successful career as the Vice President of Fleet Bank of Massachusetts and Operations Officer for All Deposit Operations at Florence Savings Bank before being hired by JALCO Industries a privately held corporation with four manufacturing facilities and five warehouse distribution locations nationwide with combined sales of 16 million in Chicopee, MA
During Bobi’s 16-year career with JALCO Industries, she was named Vice President of Eastern Etching, as well as appointed Secretary/Clerk of the Corporations.
All who knew Bobi would soon find she was quick witted, compassionate and loving with a great sense of humor! Bobi could be seen bowling with her father Robert A. Mcdonald, enjoying a fast ride in her antique car, having her hands deep in the soil of her gardens, listening to her favorite music and playing dice with her loving and devoted fiancé Rich Concannon.
Bobi was preceded in death by her mother Kathy McDonald, father Robert A. McDonald, sister Georgia, her treasured cats Boots and Tommy. She is survived by her daughters Tia and Alethia Christiansen; grandsons, Kahil and Kasimir Supinksi; her best friend, loving and devoted finance, Rich Concannon; sister Patti Patsch; brother John Cox; nephews Glen McGregor, Todd Cox; Scott McGregor and his wife, Julie; nieces Angel McDonald; Tara Butler; great nieces, Moira McGregor, and Ainsley McGregor and great nephew Eddie Brazil.
