Robert Neal

Robert was born in L.A.  October 15, 1945 and raised in Brea, California. He attended Brea Olinda High School, graduating in 1964.  Bobby honorably served his country in the US Army from 1966 to 1968 including a one-year tour of Vietnam.  He enjoyed fishing from his boat with family and friends after moving to Bend, Oregon in the 1970’s, later locating to Prineville. Preceding him in death was his dad, Curt Neal (Anita), mom Chris Pickering LaChance, and sons Thomas and Jacob.  He is survived by his wife ZuAnne Neal, daughters Julia Edwards and (step) Ayn Sales; grandchildren Dakota, Caleb, Abigail, (step) Dylan and Cameron; sisters Judee Spigelmire and Becky Morgan; brothers Roger Neal and Rodney Neal.
Talking with Bobby, sharing memories growing up in Brea and feeling his contagious humor will be missed.  He was a friend you might not have talked to for months, and the next call was like it was yesterday.  He was a loyal friend and family member.  He will be missed.
