Robert E. Bingham
September 15, 1983 - July 26, 2022
Robert E. Bingham went to be with his heavenly family on July 26, 2022. He is survived by his parents Martha & Mitch Miller, Jean Dixon & Richard Bingham, a sister Carly Lueck, (Tom), two beautiful nieces Payton and Harper and Grandma Patty. Together with his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, Robert will be remembered fondly.
Robert was born on September 15, 1983 in Youngstown , Ohio. He grew up hiking and camping in the Allegheny Forest, (PA) where his ashes will be spread at Minister Creek. He will spend eternity with Grandma Bingham, Pap Pap and his baby sister, Celia Ray. He is also reunited with his Grandma Ski and Ja Ja , and they are holding him in their loving arms again.
He moved to Central Oregon with his family in 1997. He played football and roller hockey. He was a talented writer, artist and taught himself the guitar. He wrote many songs and loved rock and roll. Carly remembers them singing Bohemian Rhapsody, loudly, while driving around in his car with the “screaming chicken” on the hood. He had jam sessions with friends, fed the birds daily, and had a gentleness with the cats that took up home under his deck. His loyalty and honesty was felt by all.
In one of his last messages to his sister, he said, “I want you to be who you are, and practice your way to perfection. Whatever I may do, I hope it’s to be perfect just like Christ is for me, he died on the cross so we could all understand what it is and what I live to be”. (perfection). In a recent text to his mom, he wrote, “The meaning of life…. There is nothing to give when you give it all to God, for God is all in all. So, take care because all you really can take from life is LOVE”.
Robert (Starscream) and his best friend from high school, Jordan ( Ghostrider) had many adventures, going to beautiful places in Central Oregon to photograph. Jordan expressed he couldn’t get the photos without Rob’s help. Quoting Jordan, “One thing that sticks out was he always told me he loved me, reminded me every time I would visit”. He was a brother.
He leaves an indelible impression on many people who knew him and will be missed. Robert had an enormous heart and a very active mind, which is now quieted here on earth. His words will remain with his family and friends whom he loved and appreciated BEYOND those words.
Lastly, taken from one of his journal entries, “Because one day we will all go home and through perfection we will roam”.
RIP Robert. We all love you and will miss you. You are free.
