Patricia Anne (Knowles) Reish

Patricia Anne Reish (Pat) passed away on February 10, 2020 at the age of 62 in Prineville, Oregon.  She was born in Aurora, Colorado on November 18, 1957 to Ben and Rae Knowles.  She lived in many places growing up as a military daughter and graduated from high school in 1975 in Tucson, Arizona.  She joined the US Army a year after graduation and served on active duty in the Finance Corps for 9 years.  After her discharge, she returned to Tucson where she continued to serve in the Army Reserves for another 2 years.  As a civilian, she worked in a variety of accounting and bookkeeping jobs and lived in Arizona, Washington, and Idaho before she and her husband moved to Prineville in 2002.   

She and was an avid crocheter who enjoyed being a part of a local sewing group and working on projects for family, friends, and charities.  Pat was also a long time SMART (Start Making a Reader Today) volunteer and really enjoyed helping kids grow as readers.   She’d been active in a local Pulmonary Hypertension group in recent years as well.

She is preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband, John, daughter, Cari, and son-in-law, John, as well as two grandkids, Noah & Hazel.  She is also survived by her two sisters, brother and sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
