Ann was born in Upland, California to Ben and Terrel Bounds. Ann was their first, and the only girl. Ann is survived by her husband Bill, sons Jason, and Derek, father, and brothers Bill, and Mike.
Ann's parents moved back to Phoenix, Arizona when she was only months old. Ann grew up and lived in the same neighborhood from first grade thru high school. Their home was the gathering place for all friends and new acquaintances. She was well liked by all. The proof was the 40 plus fiends that gathered at her brothers' house in 110-degree heat on this past June 14th to celebrate her life.
Ann spent most of her adult life in the medical field. The last 20+ years were here in Prineville, first at the hospital clinic and then with St. Charles at the new hospital. Ann loved her little old people as she called them. They would wait until she was available to check in because they knew she would get them what they needed. Like her mother, Ann spent most of her life making sure others had what they needed before she worried about herself.
For those that did not know, Ann had been battling Parkinson's Disease. This is something she did not want others to worry about for her, so she didn't speak of it much. She passed at home May 24th in her own bed surrounded by her family, Bill, Jason, and Derek.
If you can, please come and tell us your favorite story about Ann. She would have really loved to hear it herself. Let's make this a happy occasion for her sake.
