Pamela Anne Glave
April 7, 1945 – February 19, 2025
Pamela “Pam” Anne Glave was born April 7, 1945, in Watertown, New York. Daughter of John
Laughton and Mary Jane McHugh Laughton.
Pamela graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy in 1963. She studied at the University of
Baltimore.
She worked with the volunteer Fire Department in Clayton, New York. She loved to help people.
After the birth of her children, she chose to stay home and raise her family.
Pam had many hobbies. When she was young, she participated in Equestrian style
competitions and won many ribbons. She enjoyed ice skating and snow skiing. She loved books
and was an avid reader. Pam enjoyed bowling, crocheting, quilting, and many other crafts. Her
favorite pastime was “glamping” in their fifth wheel at Wallowa Lake in the summer and at the
Oregon coast in the fall.
She was on the board of directors for the Powell Butte Community Center for many years and
thoroughly enjoyed serving her community.
Pamela is survived by her four children, Todd (Kelly), John (Patsy), Heather (Alex), and Melanie
(Brett), her eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and her dog Madison.
Pam passed away peacefully at her home with her children present and was able to see her
favorite view of the Cascade mountains one last time.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Gerry, and her parents John and Mary
Jane Laughton.
There will be a celebration of life to celebrate Gerry and Pam on June 1st, 2025 at the Powell Butte Community Center from 1pm-4pm. 8404 SW Reif Rd Powell Butte, OR 97753
