Michael Del Milliron

Michael Del Milliron 79, of Prineville, Oregon passed away on August 17, 2023, surrounded by his family in Omaha Nebraska.

Mike was born on December 27, 1943 to Delbert and Erma Milliron in Monahan’s, Texas. He lived in Montana, Texas and California while growing up with his brother Robert and sister Susan.

The love of Michael’s life has always been flying, both helicopters and planes for sixty years. He learned to fly after he graduated from Lodi Seventh Day Academy in 1963. Mike took flight lessons while he went to college at Pacific Union and Delta College in California. As the owner of his own business, he flew as a crop duster in California for 40 years, he flew in Yuma, Arizona for 5 years and Iowa for fifteen years. He had also worked as a fisherman, farmer, logger and owner of several other businesses. Mike lived his life to the fullest and was always looking for adventure.

He loved camping, hunting, fishing, traveling the USA to visit family and friends. His favorite pass time was giving his children advice because he knew from experience.  If you were fortunate enough to be his friend, your life would be filled with laughter and stories that others might think were tall tales.

Mike is survived by his loving wife Joyce of 45 years. Forever cherished and remembered by many, including his sons Michael Milliron, Jr, Samuel (Brandi) Milliron, and Tyson (Sheridan) MIlliron and stepson Brandon Gray. Daughters Anastasia Milliron and Shea (Tom) Miech and four grandchildren, Weston, Nash, Macoy and Sikora.  His brother Robert (Marcia) Milliron and Susan (Gerald) Zapara. Many nephews and a niece. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Erma Milliron.
