Michael David Hendrix

On Thursday, August 1, 2019, Michael David Hendrix, loving father, son, husband and papa passed away at the age of 48.

Mike was born on August 28, 1970 in Redmond, Oregon to Earl and Janie (Villastrigo) Hendrix. He worked most of his career as a Mason with his father Earl and brother Shawn. On May 30, 1989 Mike became a father to his son Mikey. In 2002, Mike began dating Jolee Koops, Mike lovingly helped her raise Jade, Noah & Andrew. Mike was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate heart.

Mike is survived by his father, Earl, and his mother, Janie, wife, Jolee, his 4 children, Mikey, Jade, Noah and Andrew, his brothers, DeWayne, Todd, Shawn, Travis, sister, Christy and several nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins, grand children, Teagan and Wiley.

There will be a public visitation for family and friends in the Prineville Funeral Home Heritage chapel Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 5-8 PM.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 9th at 10:00 a.m. at Prineville Funeral Home, a graveside service will follow at Juniper Haven Cemetery.
