Marilyn Lee McGregor passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023, due to a stroke at the home of her niece whom she has resided the last six months.
Marilyn was born November 19, 1934 in Vancouver, WA at Clark General Hospital. She was one of triplets. One triplet, Carolyn R. died several hours after birth but the other twos survived into elder years.
Marilyn is survived by her two sons, Erick (Tammy) Mundy and William (Kristin) Mundy. Grandsons, Christopher Mundy, and C.J Mundy. Granddaughter, Tatum Mundy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Marilyn graduated in 1953 from Roosevelt High School. She worked several years for the telephone company in Portland, moving on as an admitting clerk at Bess Kaiser Hospital before traveling to several states with her husband and sons for his job transfers. She moved back to Vancouver to be near sisters and their families. She was very proud of her CNA license she obtained and loved caring for her clients.
Marilyn enjoyed crocheting, sewing and gardening she also cherished her large wardrobe with matching shoes, purses and jewelry.
She is preceded in death by her husband John K McGregor, her twin sister, Jacilyn McVicker, sister Joan Lofland, brother John V Kneuhman, and parents Leslie H. and Margaret G. (Pickel) Dollarhide.
Graveside services will be at Park Hill Cemetery, Vancouver on Thursday June 22 at 3:00
