Loretta Joan Smalling

Loretta “Joan” Smalling (Stovall), of Prineville Oregon passed away on September 3, 2022.  Loretta “Joan” Smalling (Stovall) was born on November 4, 1941 to David Monroe Stovall and Patricia Ann Randall in Bethel Oklahoma.   
   
Joan Stovall moved to Oregon in 1949.  Joan married Billy Wayne Smalling in 1956.  She loved spending time with her family, she was devoted, loving and so proud in raising her two daughters, grandson and granddaughter. She had a natural instinct and ability to love unconditionally, nurturer and provide comfort to not only her own children but to others as well. Children intuitively gave her love, joy and much happiness throughout her life.  
 
Joan Smalling (Stovall) is survived by her daughter; Joann Smalling, grandson; Joe Smalling, great-grandsons; Jonathan D. Smalling and Treyton D. Smalling, granddaughter; Juliana Arnold, great-grandson; Jaxton Arnold Chancellor, sisters; Donna Lee Farthing (Stovall), Glenda Stovall and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Joan Smalling (Stovall) is preceded in death by her father David Monroe Stovall (1999), mother Patricia Ann Torbert (1999), husband Billy Wayne Smalling (2005), infant son (1959), infant son (1967), and daughter Julia Lynn Arnold (Smalling) (2018).
