Larry Ralph Pruitt

Larry Ralph Pruitt of Prineville, OR, went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2024, with his loving family by his side.

Larry was born to Ralph and Claudine Pruitt on April 22, 1952, in Lebanon, Oregon. Where he then was raised in Lebanon, Oregon, and graduated from Lebanon Union High School in 1970.

He moved to Redmond, OR in 1984 and then to Crooked River Ranch. He settled in Prineville, OR in 1995 where he met the love of his life Lorriane. On May 23, 1998 he married Lorraine Pruitt in Prineville, OR. They were married 26 years in May of this year. Larry went back to school receiving his CDL and was a subsoil operator for a number of years. Larry then went to school to become a denturist which he greatly enjoyed. He became disabled and made the most of each day.

Larry had an adventurous spirit and a deep love for nature. He found solace in the great outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or camping. These activities were not just hobbies, but a way for him to connect with his family and friends. Larry loved to go to new places to check out or drive down a new road. South Twin was always his favorite place to go.

Larry is survived by his loving wife Lorraine; Son Randy (Melissa) Pruitt': Son Anthony(Tony) Pruitt, Stepdaughter Cindy(Ryan) Middaugh, Stepdaughter Kathy (Mark) Puckett, Stepdaughter Mary (Derek) Wells; and Stepson Michael (Heidi) Pence. 16 Grandkids and 3 Great Grandkids.

Sister Sandra (Brother-in-Law Dave); Sister Ronda (Brother-in-law Dick) and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his very faithful dog Penny who was always by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Claudine Pruitt.

There will be a viewing Friday 7/26/2024 from 3:00pm- 6:00pm at Prineville Funeral Home (199 NE 10th St Prineville, OR 97754). The Graveside Service for Larry will start at 10:00am on Saturday 7/27/2024 at Juniper Haven Cemetery in Prineville. Immediately following the cemetery there will be a Funeral Service at Prineville Funeral Home.
