Our beloved wife, mother and friend passed away on November 10, 2022 at the age 53 in Prineville Oregon, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones who
will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Kit. From breaking horses, riding and competing in horse events or just
cuddling up with her beloved dogs. Spending time with her family was the greatest joy in her life. Kit was dearly loved and will be missed greatly by those that she had always held dear to her
heart. Her kind and caring heart was expressed through her love of animals. She was compassionate toward others and was always there when someone was in need of love and support. She was an amazing mother and a cherished wife. Her selflessness was what drew many to her and her laughter was often what kept them by her side. She never expected anything more out of life than what she was willing to put into it and truly gave it her all. She was a free spirit, a loving woman, a gentle soul and a proud mother and wife.
She spent her adult life working in the medical field. She found helping others to be very fulfilling to her. She was kind and it showed with everything she did. It was always about caring
for others and being an example of how being of service was just as much a blessing for her as the person she was caring for.
She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth James O’Dorsey “Sue” and her father Larry Edward Johnson. Kit was survived by her husband of 24 years Kevin Kilpatrick, her sons Chance Kilpatrick and Chaize Kilpatrick. Also, Carol “Mom” and Grary “Dad” Dean, her “brother” Alan Davidson and many friends including Melissa “Lisa” Plank.
The Kilpatrick family would like to give thanks to all the friends, family and strangers that have been a constant source of support during this difficult time including Partners in Care hospice
providers for all of the compassion they showed our family. With special thanks to Lisa Plank for all of her dedication, hard work and unconditional love shown Kit while providing her
the necessary care during her final months.
