Kade Riley Nichol

Kade Riley Nichol’s life was stolen from us on January 8, 2023 at the age of 27.  He was born March 22, 1995 and was raised here in Prineville. He is very loved by all his family, leaving behind three precious babies KJ  1 year old, Riley 4 years old, and Colton 9 years old, Wife Kalene Nichol, Mother Jenifer Jocelyn and Stepfather DJ Jocelyn, Father Jaime Nichol and Stepmother Sarah Nichol, Sisters Lani Nichol (Nick Graves), Madison Graham (Trystin), Journey Nichol, Madis Seaquist, Aylissa Lofton (Russell Gaik), and Kayla Lofton, Brothers Logan Nichol, Kharter Nichol, Christian Russell (Grace), Kyler Jocelyn.  Grandparents, Bob & Ramona Freeman, Eldon & Ellen Nichol.  Aunts & Uncles Erika & Kevin Vaughan, Summer Hopkins, Marsida Nichol, Jonathan & Lisa Nichol, Cassie McCloughan-Harris and many cousins, nieces, and nephews, so many friends in addition to his dog, Abby 2 and cat Sun. 
Kade had a great love for his family and those that he considered family as well as friends. He was a very hard-working family man and would work on and fix anything. He lived most of his life here in Prineville with the exception of 7 years in Colorado where he met and married his wife. There he learned the arts of welding and it was his profession. There he met so many more friends and eventually family including those he considered family. Here in Oregon, he worked for Taylor Northwest where his co-workers loved him and appreciated him noting he was a great asset. He loved the outdoors especially being in the wilderness, riding motorcycle but most of all being with his children, family & friends. He wore his heart on his sleeve those that knew him know how big his heart truly was.
He was preceded by Father William McCloughan, Grandfather Rikk Hopkins, Grandparents Larry & Penny McCloughan, Aunt Julie Nichol, Aunt Calli McCloughan, Best Friends and Life Brothers Chaz Evans and Ryan Law.

Celebration of Life will be on February 25, 2023  at 2:00 PM

Potluck Style: The family will provide Kade's favorite steak

Kade's favorites include: 

Green bean casserole, meat balls, eggplant parmesan, jello fruit salads, fried bread, chocolate pudding cheesecake, cookies
