Julie Lee Poling

 Julie Lee Poling age 69, passed away early morning Sunday, June 15th 2025 at Awbery Place Memory Care in Bend Oregon where she was a resident.

Julie was born July 24th 1955 in Prineville Oregon, the daughter of the late Richard David Rose and Kathryn Icolla Mitts, She was a beloved Wife, Sister, and Grandmother. Julie enjoyed staying home with her husband watching shows, taking care of her cats, hiking with the occasional mushroom hunt, and reading. She worked for the crook county school district as a lunch lady for 19 years and loved children.

Julie and her husband ( Doug ) John Douglas Poling were good friends many years before they married, June 11th 1999. They spent decades making each other laugh and keeping each other great company. When they married, Doug had 2 children from his previous marriage Todd Poling and Nikki Hendrix, she treated and loved them as her if they were her own children. She had 4 Grandchildren Jacob Hendrix, Kenzi Babcock, Ryder Poling, and Saylor Poling, Julie loved her Grandchildren dearly she spent quality time with each and everyone of them. She played a big role in the lives of her Grandchildren. She had 3 Great Grandchildren Olivia Hendrix, Hayden Babcock, and Claire Babcock.

Julie is survived by her Husband ( Doug ) John Douglas Poling, Her Son Todd Poling, Her Brother David Rose, Sister Marie Rose, Brother Ken Rose and all of her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Julie is proceeded in death by her parents Richard and Kathryn, Brother Jim Rose, and daughter Nikki Hendrix.

Julie will be immensely missed by those who had the pleasure to know her. She was a funny, quick witted woman that you only get the opportunity to meet once in a lifetime. Caring, compassionate, and always put a smile to your face Julie was truly a kind soul.

There will not be services held, a private intimate family gathering will be arranged for Julie's passing.
