Joey "Joe" D. Smalling

Joey "Joe" D. Smalling 47yrs old....Born May 9, 1977 passed away peacefully October 8, 2024 surrounded by family.  

Joe was born in Prineville,OR where he was raised and lived.  He attended Crook County High School, graduating in 1995 before attending and graduating from UCLA. 

Joe had the biggest heart and was always there for his family and friends.  His laugh and smile were infectious. He enjoyed telling stories, cracking jokes and being with his family. 

Joe, was full of knowledge and enjoyed fixing things which prompted him to start his own home repair business which he ran along side his wife.  

Joe is survived by his wife Monica Smalling, sons Cole Ashcraft, Treyton Smalling, daughter Alex Graves as well as another son Jonathan.  Joe is also survived by grandchildren, Amelia, Averie, Sammy and Katie all of whom he loved dearly.  He is also survived by mom Joann Smalling, step-dad Gary Hatherill, uncle Steve Arnold and numerous cousins and other family.

Joe will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. 

Joe is preceeded in death by his father in law Dave Edwards, grandfather Bill Smalling, grandmother Joan Smalling and aunt Julia Arnold.
