Jimmie English

Jimmie English a long time resident of Prineville Oregon passed away September 17, 2021 at St. Charles Hospital in Bend Oregon. Jimmie was born in Wallowa Oregon in 1933 to Forrest English and Edith Horton English.  He served in the United States Air Force 25 years and after retirement continued to enjoy traveling.  He is survived by daughters Karen English - Clatskanie Oregon, Judith McClain - Madras Oregon, sister Faye Groves - Prineville Oregon, brothers Frank English - Coulee Dam Washington, Larry English - Athena Oregon, Grandson Jimmie Hansen, Granddaughter Stephanie Stevens – Prineville Oregon, Granddaughter Kelly Holmberg - Bend Oregon, with 5 Great Grandchildren and a large extended family of nieces and nephews of English’s and Groves. Jimmie was a kind and generous manwho enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Jimmie was preceded in death by his first wife Ruby, second wife Beverly and oldest daughter Carolyn Yarber.  A celebration of his life will be Saturday, September 25th at 2 pm at the Church of Christ in Prineville Oregon.
