Jerrald ‘Jerry’ Roy Misfeldt
February 2, 1966 – September 26, 2021
Jerry Roy Misfeldt was born Feb. 2, 1966 in Roseville, CA to parents William and Virginia (Andrews) Misfeldt. The youngest of five boys. He passed away on Sept. 26, 2021 in his family home in Prineville, OR at age 55.
Jerry was as authentic as they come. One of a kind. A talkative social butterfly who never met a stranger. He would tell you “That’s the gift God gave me, the gift of gab.” His humor was unmatched and he always had his friends laughing.
He was very intelligent, genius in some aspects. So smart and beyond others that he could present as a little nutty and crazy, mad if you will. All the best people are though.
He was intrigued most by the sun, the moon and the stars. If it had to do with the universe and space, Jerry was all about it. I cannot tell you how many different plans he concocted over the years, day dreaming, about getting himself into space. :)
Another passion of Jerry’s was cars and mechanics. For a time, he studied to be a mechanic in college although he worked on cars his entire life. He loved to learn everything about them and “make ‘em go!” He had countless cars over the years and every one of them was his “best car.” “A mighty fine automobile!” :) (Many of you did, but you should have seen these cars!!)
Jerry loved his cats, Mystery Theatre, learning, teaching, music (he was a very talented drummer), photography and reading. Most of all, he loved people.
If you knew Jerry… everyday was his “best day!”
Jerry is survived by his brothers Charlie Misfeldt and Dennis Misfeldt; And his son Chance Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Virginia Misfeldt; And his brothers George Misfeldt and Larry Misfeldt.
