Jeremy Lee Christiansen, 46, of New Plymouth, Idaho and longtime resident of Prineville, tragically passed away on July 11, 2024. Jeremy’s sudden absence leaves a void in the hearts of all his family and friends. As they grieve there is comfort remembering the treasured memories, love and friendship he gave so unconditionally. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jeremy was born on November 21, 1977, in Soda Springs, Idaho to Robert, Jr and Diana Christiansen. In 1978 the family moved to Prineville, Oregon, where he would be raised and loved, while making many lifetime friendships along the way.
Jeremy graduated from Crook County High School in 1995. After high school, Jeremy joined the Army Nation Guard where he served with the 3rd Battalion, 116th Cavalry Brigade in Redmond, Oregon. Jeremy would be called to serve in the Afghanistan war, “Operation Enduring Freedom” with some of his closest friends.
Jeremy met his wife Allie, his love, who he married on November 21, 2018. With this marriage of his beloved wife, they blended into a beautiful family together. Building and quickly forming an unbreakable bond.
He was a beloved soldier, husband, father and brother. Spending quality time with family and friends meant the world to Jeremy, enjoying all the activities life had to offer. Especially time spent in the woods, hunting, camping and fishing.
He was also very passionate about softball. Whether playing, coaching or umpiring a game he was always there to help his team.
Jeremy found a fulfilling career as a Hydro Excavation Operator and looked forward every day to putting in a good hard day’s work.
Jeremy’s spirit is carried on by his wife Allie, their children, McKenna, Gavin, Paden, and Ty; parents Bob and Diana, sisters Cheri and Sina; and many nieces and nephews.
To honor Jeremy’s memory, a Military service will be held at Juniper Haven Cemetery in Prineville, Oregon on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 9:45 am. A Celebration of Life will follow from 1-4 pm at Ward Park Softball Field (1143 NW 9th St, Prineville). All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jeremy’s life.
