Jason Fall Obituary

Jason McCalla Fall, 56, of Prineville, Oregon passed away in Bend, Oregon on June 13, 2026, following a
motorcycle accident. Jason was born the son of Steven and Peggy Fall on October 26, 1969, at Pioneer
Memorial Hospital in Prineville, Oregon. Jason grew up in Prineville with his older brother Yancey and
many friends, riding bicycles and dirt bikes, hunting, fishing, camping, and waterskiing on the Prineville
Reservoir near Jasper Point.

While in grade school, Jason was a member of the Crook County Cadet Boys Choir. He also sang in the
Crook County High School a cappella choir. He found joy in listening, singing, and performing all genres
of music. After graduating from Crook County High School in 1987, Jason moved to Phoenix, AZ to
pursue a career in landscaping. While in Phoenix, Jason and Chrissy Filpo had daughter Ashley in 1989
and later returned to Prineville to welcome Raeana in the spring of 1993. Jason worked in the
construction trade throughout Central Oregon until moving to Plains, Montana.

While in Montana, Jason and Sarah Wilkins welcomed sons Steven in 2002 and Waylon in 2003 before
moving back to Prineville. Jason was a single father raising his sons. Both sons became the family’s 3rd
generation graduates of Crook County High School. In recent years Jason had reunited with his high
school sweetheart, Julie Starr after many years apart. Jason worked as a lead machinist for Keith
Manufacturing in Madras, Oregon for the last 17 years.

Jason’s wit and sense of humor were legendary. He was always quick with a joke and a hug for anyone in
need. He never hesitated to help someone or lend a listening ear. Jason was gentle, kind and loving and
put others at ease with his magnetic personality. He was a lover of animals and had many special four-
legged companions throughout his life. Jason’s memory will forever live in the hearts of his family and
friends. His love of life and his joyous spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother Peggy Fall, brother Yancey Fall (Julia), fiancé Julie Starr, Chrissy Filo (Fidel),
daughters Ashley Fall and Raeana Fall. Sons Steven Fall and Waylan Fall. Grandchildren, Ashton, Everett,
and Charles, many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Mildred and Howard Fall, King and Margret Ewing, Father
Steven Fall, Uncles Carter Fall, Homer Urell, and Lenoard Brush, Aunts Mary Francis Hale, Virginia
Rogers, and Peggy Urell, and his son’s mother, Sarah Wilkins.

At his request no funeral service will be held. A celebration of his life will be held at a future date. In
lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in his name to the Humane
Society of the Ochocos.
