JR Anderson 1961 - 2025  He will be missed but never forgotten

Leo L. Anderson Jr., 64 of Prineville, OR died on Tuesday November 25, 2025.

He was born in Prineville, OR on February 12, 1961, to Leo and Ozie Anderson. He was the 10th child with five brothers and four sisters. JR grew up in Prineville and loved living in this small town. He lived every day to the fullest with a smile on his face. 

In his early years he married and had two boys Chad Ray and Ryan James Anderson. In his late 30’s he fell in love and married Donna Jean Asher. They shared a wonderful life together. During this time, they had two daughters Katie Jean and Karlie Grace. He retired after 25 years from Clear Pine Mouldings and then became a stay-at-home Dad. He thrived being at home with his girls. JR was passionate about his family, classic rock, old muscle cars and finding a good deal on a car to flip.

JR was preceded in death by son Ryan James Anderson, Parents Leo and Ozie Anderson, five brothers and two sisters, In-Laws, nieces, nephews and many cousins.

He is survived by Donna, Katie and Karlie Anderson, Chad (Amy) Anderson, grandsons Trent Ryan and Coulter James, family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday December 13, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Prineville Funeral Home, 199 NE 10th St. Prineville, OR 97754.
