J William Jordan

J William Jordan passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the age of 96. J was born August 3, 1923 in Toppenish Washington. He joined the civilian conservation Corps in the early 1940s while living in Medford Oregon. He later joined the Navy June 29, 1942. After being discharged from the Navy in 1945 he came to Prineville to re-join his family and their met Audrey Fay LaBlue. They were married May 26, 1946 Fay passed away in 2004 just short of their 60th wedding anniversary.

J is survived by his daughters JoAnne Perry and Darlene Anderson, 4 grandchildren and 3 Great grand-daughters, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by one sister, Golda Rawlings of Estacada Oregon.

J was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Lillie Jordan, 4 brothers and one sister he also lost his two son-in-law‘s Clinton Perry and Howard Anderson.

J was a WW2 veteran a member of the VFW and the Band of Brothers of Prineville. He was also a very active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Prineville and to the band of Brothers also of Prineville.

There will be a graveside service Tuesday, February 25 at 10 AM at Juniper Haven cemetery with Military honors following the graveside service there will be a memorial service at 11 AM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Prineville followed by a lunch reception.
