Guadalupe Jose Cuellar, 76 

Guadalupe Jose (Joe) Cuellar, 76, of Harlingen, Texas, passed away on February 26, 2025. Guadalupe was a cherished member of the Harlingen community, known for his kindness. 

Born and raised in Harlingen, Guadalupe dedicated his life to his family and his work. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to all. His warm smile and gentle spirit touched 

the lives of everyone he met. 

Joe is survived by his children; Brandon Cuellar, and Kelley Cuellar; his granddaughter Salena McGuire. His siblings, Janey Tapia, Cruz Cuellar, Sally Cuellar, Juan Cuellar, Molly Cuellar, Inez Cuellar, and Ray Cuellar; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him sincerely. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Francisco Cuellar; his mother, Celia Garcia; his brother, Basilio Cuellar; and his sister, Mary Figueroa. 

Joe loved going to church where he dedicated his life to the lord. Joe loved listening to music of all genres, finding joy and comfort in melodies from all walks of life. 

A memorial service will be held on March 22nd at 10:00 AM at the Prineville Funeral Home 

Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Guadalupe's memory. 

Guadalupe's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
