Donald Gillen Obituary

Born Prineville Oregon 09/08/1950 passed away at Hari Homestead 11/09/2022.

Don worked for Hudspeth Pinne Rd crew and as a line logger, Operated a skidder for Gillen Logging Inc.

Don volunteered for the Bureau of Land Management making all BLM facilities accessible to persons with disabilities. Don was awarded making a difference award in Washington DC from Dept of interior and Director of BLM.

In 1969 attended Businness College, Was enlisted in the Marinne Reserve from 1970-1976 as a Sargeant Tank commander. Was Decorated Rifle Marksman Badge.

When Don was not on the water with his Ski boat water skiing he enjoyed hunting, his family, and a good conversation with laughs with friends

Don is preceeded in death his Parents Herman Gillen, Erba Shoemaker Gillen,

Survived by Brother Ron Gillen "Marla" Sister Bonnie Barney "Steve"

Nephews Steve, Brian, Mike, Nieces Abbey, Sidney,
