Deanne Dunne Obituary

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend Deanne Dunne, 87, went to her heavenly home on December 26th, 2022, with family by her side in Prineville, Oregon.
Deanne was born in Trenton, Missouri and lived in Fulton, Missouri during her childhood where she was raised by her grandparents. She attended grade school and one year of high school there. After her grandmother passed away, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona to be closer to her mother and stepfather and Deanne finished high school in Arizona.
Deanne married her first husband Bill McDowell and together they raised a beautiful family. Deanne and Bill were married for 20 years before he passed away suddenly. Eventually Deanne remarried Dale Dunne and they spent the next 37 years together before he passed away.
Deanne was a faithful woman who loved the lord, her family, friends and her community. In her own words she was blessed, and her family and friends were her life. She enjoyed crafting and entered many craft bazaars over the years and often gifted her handmade crafts to family and friends. She also enjoyed crocheting and donated scarves to schools and blankets hospice and the pregnancy resource center.
Deanne was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and father of her children Bill McDowell, her husband Dale Dunne, stepdaughters Wanda and Nell and stepson Billy.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Mike (Linda) McDowell, Dannie (Paula) McDowell and Sherri (Cecil) Spry; grandchildren: David McDowell, Randy McDowell, Amy Rowe, Jason McDowell, CJ Branson, Chris Porterfield, Anthony (Alanna) Spry, Cecil Jr. (Michael) Spry-Harris, Eric (Natalie) Spry, Amanda (Ryan) Stout and many great grandchildren; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held in Prineville in the spring.
