Clinton Phillip McDonald passed away at Hospice House, 2075 NE Wyatt Court: Bend, Oregon on January 9, 2024 with Kandi DuLaney, Korenna and Carl Sparks present.

Clinton was born in Lebanon, Oregon on March 10, 1937. he was born to Clifford Franklin McDonald and Jessie Ann (Brown) McDonald. He moved to Prineville, Oregon at 5 years old. He was preceded in death by all his siblings. Maxine (McDonald) Watson, Juanita McDonald, Carl McDonald, Lois McDonald, Clifton McDonald, Calvin McDonald, also 2 sons, Kenneth McDonald, Kevin McDonald, a great grand-daughter, Lexie Leigh Spangle. Clinton went to school in Prineville, Oregon. Before finishing high school he went into the US Navy. He had a medical discharge. He married Loretta Elaine (Blanchard) McDonald on September 3, 1960. A home wedding at Carl and Lota McDonald's home in Prineville. They were married 63 years, 4 months and 6 days.

Clinton and Loretta had 5 children, Kenneth, Kelly, Kevin, Korenna and Kandi.

Clinton is survived by his wife Loretta, 1 son, Kelly McDonald, 2 daughters, Kandi DuLaney and Korenna Sparks.

Grandchildren: Tanya DeMauro (Robert DeMauro), Sarah Warren (Jon Warren), T'nisha Spangle (Kasey Spangle), Robert Morfitt, Justin Morfitt, Victoria Mikelsen. Great grandchildren: Bethany DeMauro, Jacob DeMauro, Lucas Hogeland, Hunter Self, Layla Self, Demetri Kenny, Amadeus Gerlach, Katana Gerlach, Willow Gerlach, Landyn Spangle, Lausyn Spangle, Lainey Spangle and Annebelle Ramirez. Nieces and Nephews: Sharon, Linda, Carla, Jody, Mona, Robin, Mark, Julie, Karen, Janice, Calvin Jr..

Clinton worked at Pine Product Mill and then at Clear Pine Molding here in Prineville.

Clinton's service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 @ 10am at the Prineville Funeral Home.
