Clint Moon Obituary

Master Sergeant (Ret.) Clint Robin Moon, of Prineville, OR, passed away May 10th, 2019 after a seven-year battle with cancer.  Born in Eugene, OR November 30, 1968 he lived life to its fullest and looked for the silver lining every day.  Clint was a real cowboy.  He enjoyed horses, hunting, fishing, and camping as well as singing, and comedy during his short 50 years. Clint entered the military in June of 1987 and retired from the Army in 2014 attaining the rank of Master Sergeant (E8), serving 27 years in support of his country.  In those years of service MSG Moon deployed to Operation Desert Shield/ Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom where he received many awards and decorations he was loved and admired by all Soldiers who were lucky enough to serve with him.  His dedication and devotion to his family, friends, and country were his passion in life. 

Clint is survived by his wife Angela, three children Jesse, Jacob and Elizabeth, parents James and Patricia, sister’s Jackie and Carrie, and brother Steven. He has many extended family members, his band of brothers, and close friends who also share in the loss of a great man, husband, son, and friend.

The celebration of life will be May 16th, 2019 @ 1pm, Prineville Funeral Home “Heritage Chapel” with a reception to follow.  Please come celebrate his life, with friends and family, a wonderful man who made his mark on everyone he knew.
