Clark graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1977. While in school he was a member of the swim team.
After high school, he worked a couple of jobs before starting his long career at Willamette Industries, which later became Weyerhaeuser. While there, he worked in a variety of leadership positions. When he retired in 2017, he was the Operations Manager at the mill in Foster.
Clark married Angie Houck-Hay on May 20, 2010, at Moloa’a Bay on the island of Kauai, where they joined their hearts and lives as one, and enjoyed traveling back every year. Clark and Angie also enjoyed seeing Dave Matthews Band at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington. Clark enjoyed travling to new places.
Clark was passionate about Hunting and fishing. He loved the outdoors and spent much time driving around our woods. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them at the several gatherings planned throughout the year. He was an extremely hard worker, could build anything, and was always willing to lend a hand to help a friend or family member. Clark made many friends over the years that became like family to him. Clark played such a valuable positive role in many peoples lives. Clark was simply just a one of a kind amazing guy. His family and friends will continue to honor his memory by doing all the things he loved to do.
