Carole Sue Shell Asher

Carole Sue Shell Asher made her heavenly journey at 3 am on November 15, 2024; running into the open arms of her Lord and Savior. Her daughter Donna Jean Anderson was holding her hand as she passed due to natural causes.

She was a resident of Regency Nursing Home in Prineville. Carole was born on March 6, 1943 in Condon, Oregon to Bert and Roxie (Hughes) Shell. In October of 1943 the family relocated to Prineville, Oregon where Carole spent the rest of her life. She attended Crook County Schools and made many friends. Carole married the love of her life, Alvin Asher on June 18, 1960. Carole and Alvin spent 50 years together in their home on Apollo Road in Prineville. They built a life together filled with love and happiness, successfully raising their four children; Kendra Sue, Thomas Alvin, David Allen and Donna Jean. Carole was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved cooking and preparing special meals for them. She was an avid quilter, crocheter and seamstress. She was a devout Christian and read her Bible everyday without fail. Carole is survived by her children; Kendra Bond, Thomas (Lena) Asher, David (Theresa) Asher and Donna (JR) Anderson and grandchildren; Karola, Logan, Kalysa, Tim, Galina, Matthew, Marrisa, Katie and Karlie and one great grandchild, Lucas. She is also survived by her sister; Shirley Lou Shell (Texas), her brother BF Shell (Salem, Oregon) and numerous nephews and nieces.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents: Bert and Roxie Shell; her sister, Arleeta Ann Shell Slusher; her granddaughter, Kendra; her son-in-law Alfred Bond and her husband, Alvin Asher. Carole was a very special person who was loved and treasured by many. She spent her life helping others and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

She loved daisies and the color yellow. Carole brought sunshine into our lives each and everyday. She will be missed but will continue to reside in the hearts of those who knew her and loved her.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday November, 29 2024 at 2:00pm at Prineville Funeral Home 199 NE 10th St Prineville, OR 97754.
