Bristol Hagen Obituary

Bristol Tayte Hagen was born on March 24, 2019 to parents Chelsie Dixon and Clayton Hagen.  On June 30, 2020 Bristol passed away peacefully at Doernbecher’s Children’s Hospital following complications from a bone marrow transplant after being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

Bristol was diagnosed with AML on July 1, 2019.  Since that day Bristol continually fought and defied the odds to defeat the disease.  Bristol was known for being the bright light in the room and putting smiles on everyone’s faces. Bristol had a fantastic personality that was so contagious, even on someone’s worst days she was able to make them happy.

Bristol showed everyone she ever encountered true grace, strength, love, happiness and compassion. On multiple occasions people who met Bristol said that she was one of the strongest people they had ever met. She always found a way to smile even on her hardest days. During Bristol’s life she brought together family, friends, strangers and an entire community. Bristol will always be remembered as the Wonder Woman she always was and will forever be.

Bristol is survived by her parents, her three siblings Branson, Destiny and Preslie.

The Hagen family would like to thank the Prineville and Crook County community, the Bend firefighters stair climb team, and Central Oregon communities and beyond for all their support, prayers, and positive messages.
