Betty J (Dodson) Buckley

Betty Jane Buckley died peacefully on December 6, 2020 in Redmond, Oregon at the age of 91.  There will be no services per her request.

Betty was born in Burns, Oregon, spending her youth in Burns and Prineville, Oregon.  She was united in marriage to James Edward Buckley in 1946.  They spent their lives in many adventures, living in various places across the western United States including Post, OR; Prineville, OR; Crescent City, CA; Paso Robles, CA; Laramie, WY; Cut Bank, MT; Rock Springs, WY; Walla Walla, WA; Tanana, AK; LaPine, OR; and Soldotna, AK.  She worked various jobs and never let anyone leave her house hungry.

She is survived by son Jim (Pam) Buckley of Prineville, OR; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and two sisters Joyce Gerke and Pat Thompson of Prineville, OR.

Betty was proceeded in death by her husband, son Dan, parents Floyd and Emma Dodson and brothers Doug, Oliver (Jim), and Dean Dodson.
