Anita Marie Budke

Anita Budke passed away at home December 11, 2025, at the age of 86. Anita was
born in Counsil Idaho on November 1, 1939, to Dewey and Nettie Barstad.
Anita was a hairdresser in her early years and later worked in Retail at multiple
locations, including Prineville Men’s Wear.
Anita was active in New Hope Singles, Prineville Positive Singles, Fellowship of
Christian Adults, Singles of Portland, Salem, Redmond and Bend.
Her hobbies were reading her bible, gardening and enjoying family.
Anita’s love for Jesus came first, but her love for her family was a close 2 nd . She
cherished time spent with her family and friends. Not a person blessed to know her went
without knowing how much she cared or appreciated them.
Anita was preceded in death by her father Dewey, Mother Nettie, Sister Wynona, Sister
Mary Lou, Brother Clinton, Cousin Ernie Ford, Nephew Gene Adams.
She is survived by her sons, Lee Budke, Daughter in Law Theresa, Dale Budke,
Daughter in Law Connie, Nephew Shane Ford, Grand Neice Dallas Bentley, 4
Grandsons Brian Broadie, Eric Budke, Brent Budke, Joe Budke, 2 Grand Daughters
Brandi Brantley, Rhiannon Clancey, 11 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great Grand
Children.
~~Anita’s parting message to her friends ~~
I do not want my family and friends to be sad. I am not sad. I get to walk the streets of
gold and bless your hearts, you are stuck down here on this earth where people need to
be kinder, nicer and more caring. These are the things that count in life. I
have said my peace. Amen.
