Terry Lee Patton

Terry Lee Patton of Prineville passed away June 28, 2018. Terry was born July 8, 1951 in Alliance, Nebraska to Robert Patton and Ruth (Johns) Patton.

Terry began his adult working life on the docks in Portland offloading & detailing new cars. He worked in Portland & Cheyenne, Wyoming in the manufactured home business. Terry also worked for Roto Rooter (Drain Cleaning) for many years. He then went into truck driving, which was the love of his life. He retired from teamster’s truck driving division.

Terry greatly loved to explore and travel. Every day since retirement he would take short trips and rides to explore mostly Oregon backroads. He enjoyed wildlife, camping, shooting and computer games. Terry also won 3rd place for his truck driving skills in the National Truck Driving Championships in Denver, Colorado.

Terry is survived by his three children; Jennifer Patton Sosnovske, Jeff Patton and Steve Patton. Five grandchildren; Nathan, Hillary, MacKenzie, LeeAnn and Emma Lee.  One great grandchild Jordan Edwards, Jr. Terry also had two good friends, his best friend Terry Sorenson, he and Terry would take shooting & exploring trips together & loved the Christmas Valley area. Terry also had a best friend of the “heart” Cathy Patton.
