Rosamond Laughter

Rosamond Marie Laughter "Rosie" ,87, of Prineville, Oregon passed away May 25, 2018, in Bend.

Rosie was born February 24,1931, in Seattle, Washington to Leonard and Gaynel Cunningham. She was the second oldest of 4 children.

Rosie married the late Adrian Eugene “Gene" Laughter, August 10, 1955

Rosie professed her life to Christ at an early age. The family lived in California and moved to Prineville, Oregon in 1977. She had a diversity of jobs she enjoyed, including working at a mill in Prineville, as a Caregiver for the elderly and as a truck driver with her second husband, Dale Prindle, whom she married in 1996 and later divorced. After retirement she became a volunteer Grandparent at Crook County Christian School. She was always laughing and had a smile on her face. The bible verse that best describes her is Galatians 5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is...joy”.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marietta and Pedro Gonzalez, daughter-in-law, Claudia Franklin, all of Prineville, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, brother Archie Cunningham, of Washington and sister Althea Casteel of Prineville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Adrian Eugene Laughter, son Richard B. Franklin, sister Naola McShatko and sister Sharon Thrasher.

No service will be held, as per her wishes. Cremation will be arranged by Prineville Funeral Home.
