Louise Kay Puckett passed away peacefully on May 15, 2019, at the age of 75 surrounded by family and friends.
Louise was born Dec. 12, 1943, in Quinter, Kansas, to Frank and Bessie Stout. She graduated from Crook County High School in 1962. She attended Mt. Hood Community College, where she earned a clerical certificate. She married John Etsell Puckett in 1981.
To Louise, family was everything. The Lord, family and friendships meant the world to her. She would always make you feel comfortable and loved when around her with her infectious laugh and great smile. Louise was a generous, kind, dedicated and funny wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family more than she could ever express. Louise was also an active and dedicated member of the Nazarene Church.
Louise is survived by her husband, John Etsell Puckett; daughter, Shannon Horne and her husband, Todd Horne; son, Vance Gumm and his wife, Dee Gumm; sons, Kevin Gumm and Cody Puckett; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Anderson, and a sister, Jacquetta Walston.
