Jeff Hancock Obituary

Jeff Lynn Hancock, 53, lost his courageous battle with cancer May 21, 2018. He leaves behind his beloved wife Marti and daughter Kaeli at home.

Born to Daryl and Gail Hancock at Mountain Home AFB in Idaho, he grew up in an Air Force family and graduated from Challis High School Idaho. After college, Jeff worked on ranches in Idaho and Wyoming before coming to Prineville, Oregon. Following a farming accident, he took up competitive waterskiing. He was a valued member of the gold medal winning USA Disabled Waterski Team and represented the United States in world competitions. He is currently the National Record Holder in Slalom.

Preceded in death by his father and grandparents, he is survived by his mother, his sister Brenda and family of Alaska, his brother Brian and family of Idaho, his brother Brandy of Idaho as well as a host of other friends and relatives including two great nephews he was so excited to welcome to the family.

A special heartfelt thank you to all whose love and support meant so much to Jeff. Services will be private. A celebration of life is planned July 4, 2019 at Windy Lake.
